A hand missal

The missal in the hands of the faithful

For more than a century, the faithful followed the Mass in a hand missal: the Latin of the altar on one page, its translation on the other, the propers of each Sunday and feast in their place. Many learnt the liturgy that way, and the Latin with it.

The app is that missal, for the Mass of 1962 and for every day of the year — without the ribbons to set before Mass, and with the calendar that tells you which Mass is said today.
