Everything inside the Iter Fidei app

Seven things the app does, each for the 1962 rite: the Missal day by day, the Breviary Hour by Hour, the Rosary decade by decade, novenas day by day, the Holy Bible verse by verse, the preparation for confession, and the Latin Masses near you. In Latin and in English, offline, without advertising — coming soon to iOS and Android.

Why Iter Fidei

Built on 1962, and on 1962 alone

Most Catholic apps are built on the books that followed the Council: the new Mass, the Liturgy of the Hours, the three-year lectionary. Iter Fidei is built on the Roman Missal, the Breviary and the calendar of 1962 — the rite the saints prayed, kept whole.

Every text is sourced: the Latin from the liturgical books, the English from the classic Catholic versions — the Douay-Rheims for Holy Scripture. Nothing is paraphrased, nothing is added.

No advertising, no feed, nothing to keep up. The app opens on today — the feast, its class and its colour, the prayers of the day in their order — and leaves you to pray.

What is the best Catholic app for the Traditional Latin Mass?

That depends on the rite you follow. If you go to the 1962 Mass, choose an app built on its calendar rather than on the reformed one: the readings, the feasts and the Office differ on most days. Iter Fidei is built for that rite alone. Tridentine Mass and Novus Ordo
